Our Stake Youth ages 14 and up will participate in FSY in 2025 at Purdue University. Read on for details!

What is FSY?

For the Strength of Youth (FSY) conferences are large events designed to help youth have fun as they apply the gospel in all aspects of their life. At FSY, youth will participate in five days of devotionals, classes, and activities intended to build and strengthen faith in Jesus Christ as they grow spiritually, socially, physically, and intellectually.

All youth participating in an FSY conference must meet the following requirements:

Youth must be no younger than 14 by December 31 of the year the participant attends and no older than 18 by the end of the session they plan to attend. Youth must strive to follow the principles taught in For the Strength of Youth: A Guide for Making Choices and be willing to follow the FSY Conference Standards and Policies. Youth must not have committed or be suspected of committing a sexual offence felony, whether convicted or not.

FSY Activities Timeline

  • October 22, 2024 – January 14, 2025 | Pre-Registration

Youth can pre-register for FSY at anytime during this time. Someone who registers in October will not be guaranteed a spot before someone who registers in January. Everyone who pre-registered will be able to actually register before any youth who do not pre-register.

  • Saturday, May 3 | “Before You Go” Readiness Activity

Youth will participate in a Stake Activity to get them ready for and answer their questions about FSY.

  • July 14-19 | FSY Conference – Option 1

At Purdue University in West Lafayette, IN

  • July 21-26 | FSY Conference – Option 2

At Purdue University in West Lafayette, IN

  • Saturday, September 20 | “Taking it Home” Fireside

The purpose of Reflect and Review (R&R) is to allow the youth time to ponder and process the information they’ve received and experiences they’ve had throughout the activity. The ultimate goal is for youth to recognize how they hear Jesus Christ and what Heavenly Father is trying to teach them individually (#HearHim)
